Evacuation Chair Training

Whether you work in a hotel, bar, cafe or other hospitality venue, every person must be able to leave the building quickly and safely in an emergency.

While most people can use the stairs, guests or staff with reduced mobility need special assistance.

Lifts cannot be used during a fire or power failure, so trained staff must operate an evacuation chair to move a person down stairs or along escape routes.

• Practical tips for real-world scenarios and post-evacuation procedures.

You’ll complete knowledge checks throughout the course and finish with a final assessment.

You must pass the assessment to achieve your certificate.
